Chapel Kids

Kids are VERY welcome at Christ Church! Our Chapel Kids are active participants in Sunday worship as lectors, acolytes, ushers and readers of the prayers of the people.

Why “Chapel Kids”? Because we have created a kid-friendly space in the chapel area, which is connected to the larger nave. There they can color, read, play with soft toys, all while they listen to the service and learn the rhythms of our Anglican form of liturgy. We believe that kids learn how to be in church by being in church!
They do occasionally go out during the sermon with a safe-church certified adult for a special project or to learn a song, but they always come back during the Passing of the Peace so that we are together as a church family for the Eucharist.
